Richard is responsible for new media and technical services at QVC UK's television studio centre in London, including developing new digital services, satellite distribution and building systems. He has been involved with QVC UK since its beginning in June 1993 and has been pivotal in QVC's moves into Digital TV and Interactive in both the UK and Germany. These include the website www.qvcuk.com, the launch of QVC Active - a service which enables shoppers to order products, in real time, simply by pressing a button on their Sky Digital or digital cable remote control, QVC Mobile and the broadband delivered QVC Video Centre.

Richard's career has spanned the BBC, Thames Television, Basys International (a subsidiary of ITN) and Theseus Ltd, a TV systems consultancy.
